- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I received a phone call today from attendance saying my child was marked absent and wanted to know if she was sick. There's only one problem...my child did go to school today. So now I'm sitting here wondering if my kids are safe at this school. How can you mistakenly mark a student absent and then to make matters worse, call the parent and worry the parent. This is totally unacceptable and I don't see my children staying at this school long. As soon as my lease is up I will be moving from this district or at least away from this school.By Mary Washington, February 07, 2018
